Madie stayed overnight recently and when we were playing Littlest Pet Shop on the living room floor, she said to me, "Grammie, you know how Nanny (her great grandmother Morell)is looking down on us from heaven?"
I said, "Yes, Madie, I do know she looks out for us."
"Well," she reasoned, "she must have looked away!"
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
"I hurt my lip when I fell at school... she MUST have looked away."
"Sometimes those things happen," I smiled. "But that doesn't mean she ever looks away!"
Trust me Madie! Nanny is watching over you, the little angel she loved and still does.
