Madie and I had a babysitting evening last night. We "hurried" through homework ("reading is hard, Grammie", said with a sigh and a shake of the head) in order to play Barbies. But here's what happened before we got started...
Grammie: Let's do the dishes and surprise mommy (who was out Christmas shopping and I suspected was going to be very tired.)
Madie: Okay, but I wash!
So we head out to the kitchen where she pushes a chair up to the sink and rolls up her sleeves.
Madie, surveying the the array of dishes covering the counter: I don't think so!
She gets back down, pushes the chair back to the table and rolls down her sleeves.
Grammie does dishes alone, but I'm told I got FULL credit this morning.
By the way, we didn't play Barbies long because she wanted a game of Trouble... which she trounced me! And I tried to win!
Grammie's luck.

She was definitely quick to tell me that you had done them. I think she was scared you were going to tell me she hadn't and thought she'd fess up before getting nailed :-)
Thanks for doing them !!
