The younger of the two daughters is married off and really it went off without any major glitches. Even the weather which wasn't great could have been worse. How do you reflect on such a 'beautiful' day? The best way is probably to record the moments that stand out, so here they are....
Spa-ing it with the girls.
The SUPER kabobs prepared by the MacMillan clan for the rehearsal party.
The heartfelt gift giving by the bride and groom-to-be.
Wedding morning Timmies for everyone.
The bride's face when she say her beautiful necklace - a gift from her groom.
Super hairdos and make up jobs.
Buying my own diamond earrings for the occasion.
Helping the bride get ready for the ceremony.
Beautiful bridesmaids (especially that little one!)
That ever-enjoyable limo ride.
Two little flower girls looking adorable in the dresses I'd made.
Watching Dad walk his little girl down the aisle.
The groom's eyes when he saw her.
A touching ceremony.
Derrick Miller's rendition of "God Bless the Broken Road".
Rained out riverside photos and moving everyone indoors.
The great job by the SUB folks and all the wonderful decorations.
Entertaining speeches.
Lloyd George!
Family, friends, food and drink.
Dad and his girl dancing to "I Loved Her First".
RAINBOWS!
Great music by Cedar Creek... thanks Uncle Al!
Dancing the night away, even one with my daddy and two sisters.
One tired little girl asleep across three chairs.
Gifts galore and more good food on Sunday.
Sleeping.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Most of the recollections probably sound like those of any proud mom... but these ones are mine.
